Fires to the full range it is rated for without a long soak to get there. Wiring terminals and connectors are rated for the temperatures they actually see at the kiln jacket. We keep it in stock for studio and school kiln rooms across the Midwest and ship it the same week. If it turns up damaged, tell us and we will make it right, no argument.
